Plot

In the early 20th century, the Duttons faced a new set of problems, including the rise of western expansion, Prohibition, and the Great Depression. Although America’s Great Depression began in 1929, it got an early start in Montana. The Great Depression began in Montana in 1918, almost 10 years earlier than in the rest of the country. Between the drought and the decrease in demand for agricultural products due to the end of the “Great War” (aka the First World War, from 1914 to 1918), many farmers suffered greatly. As a result, Montana farmers will not be able to repay their wartime loans, which will lead to massive bank failures across the state.

By 1925, 70,000 of Montana’s 82,000 settlers had left

Between 1921 and 1925, half of Montana’s farmers lost their land. In addition, 200 banks in Montana went bankrupt. Not only the crops suffered from the drought, it was followed by an invasion of locusts and infection of cattle. Harrison Ford (2023). I haven’t watched it yet (I don’t even want to), but I’m shocked by this series!

Stories, how they are told, how they change from generation to generation… I am in love with this series. I watched 1883 and, my God, it’s as good as 1923, very sad, and many happy moments, it’s just crazy how feelings change while you’re watching it. I just think it would be amazing if they moved on to the next generation by 2024, hahahahahaha. Thank you very much for this perfect production!

You will not lose your time

And you, who is reading this, do not think about whether it is worth watching. I just finished watching the series, and all I want is the next season, and not just the next one, but the NEXT one (if the stories continue to develop as they did in the first season). . I am amazed, the last episode made me cry, the next season is urgently needed. It’s been a long time since I watched something so emotional and so well told as in this series.

Not to mention the actors, what a game, what a job, everything was great, such a beautiful production. The quality is surprising, it is impossible not to become a fan of this series and not recommend it to others. Please do not leave the series without a decent finale, continue to release it. I believe that I, like thousands of other people, look forward to the next seasons of this wonderful masterpiece.
